Dzine were engaged to complete a purposed built Design & Construct facility for FedEx bulk and parcel distribution in SA.
The 60,000m2 site featured a 22,000m2 warehouse which accommodates bulk and parcel freight and also fully automated conveyor system with associated 2 storey administration building.
Further the site comprises a mezzanine for conveyor ops control, fuelling, wash and workshop facility, security gatehouses and 2 carparks.
The facility was built on Adelaide Airport controlled land with 11 month build time achieved by building structure from both ends to accommodate early conveyor fitout 6 months into the overall construction to ensure commissioning achieved for handover.
